if they are real, why not post real pictures of them (maya floating pyramid en dubai underwater hotel).
because maya floating pyramid is still a project… even so this doesn’t make it less real than the others. The pictures show how the hotel will look when it will be finished. It’s not SF, it’s real, a real project.

Some of the pictures are not correct (and artists’ renditions). The underwater restaurant is real, but obviously not part of the PROPOSED underwater hotel…
You are right. One of the pictures is Hydropolis, the restaurant is in fact Hilton Maldives Undersea Restaurant, and the bedroom is from Poseidon Resort (Source: CDNN).

of course some of these are fake they are concept designs they are planning to make them they may not look like the plan at the end though

I know for sure that the Japanese capsule hotels are real.
The capsule hotel was creepy, I can’t believe that people actually stay there! Yay, let’s live in our closet for a week…. crammed into a room with 50 other people living in closets, doesn’t exactly seem like a vacation attraction.
Would be nice to have some more info put in for each hotel instead of just pictures though (like on the floating pyramid one).

Hey guys – you might want to take a look at the website that these hotels were pulled from (www.uhotw.com) – as they’re only a subset of the 160 Unusual places we write about.
Hydropolis is sadly still a myth. So is your Mayan temple. Poseidon is waiting for Eco clearance… but no movement as yet – sub-prime money troubles have closed Bruce Jones investment plans for now.
I wanted pictures of something weird, I chose hotels, read on some other weblogs and forums about them, searched them on google, found their websites and wrote the post. I had this idea when I saw the Capsule hotel here:

You know…. they are making a Hotel in space!! It will open 2012. It’s lots of money to get in, but you have to wear a velcro suit so you can stick on to stuff… like Spiderman! To take a shower you go in a room with lots of bubbles and suds floating around! I wonder how you go to the bathroom….

vean tontos estos hotels no todos son de verdad algunos lo son otros y otros nisiquiera estan construidos asi que mejor se callan y no hablen tanto si no han ido a ninguno de ellos sueñen con ir o cuando vallan disfruten y me llaman a vers no se les hundio el hotel porque uno no puede ser tan bobo como para ir a un hotel que sabe q no flota y se va a hundir y que debajo del agua los vidrios se rompen por la presion y se entra el agua asi qie les acosejo que dejen de haser publicidad para que la gente vaya a estos hoteles peligrosos bueno vaya a los de siempre que son mas seguros que nos creativaos porque les apuesto que esos hoteles creativos no duran mas de 3 años porque algo les passa porque son peligrosos
