Eyes of Space

******************************************************* Born from the death of stars, nebulae are a beautiful mixture of colors and shapes, dust and gas, a mystery of space. And even we can't touch these interstellar cloud, we can admire them.

UPDATE: In some of the pictures there are galaxies. More information on galaxies and nebulae.

  1. Uh, sorry, but three of these pictures are galaxies, not nebulae….

  2. Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe that some of those pictures are not nebulae. I’m almost certain that the first image is the “Sombrero Galaxy”, which is made of many stars. Other images in this set also look like galaxies.

  3. probably 😛

  4. Who did this? They are galaxies, the first one Sombrero Galaxy (m104) to be exact! wtf?

  5. The Author corrected it.
These are nebulae, galaxies, supernovae, stellar nurseries…and may be a black hole we can’t see.
    Great pics.

  6. Really wonderful and beautiful The universe and the instrument to know it, the science, are deeply interesting

  7. the 6th picture down, almost every spec of light in this picture is a galaxy with untold numbers of solar systems even more planets in those systems. But you still have people out there saying that we are it. Pompous, arrogant, humans.

  8. And I’m pretty sure that the fifth picture is of a neutron star (pulsar).

  9. i never realised how pretty space stuff was until now, when i realised how they all kinda look like colorful explosions, or whirlpools.

  10. beautiful space pictures

  11. these are so cool i never really realized that space looked like this
