Ashes – Anti-Smoking Advertisments

Smoking cigarettes is not always a death cause. But SOMETIMES IT IS. I used to know people who had been smoking since ever and lived many, many years. Even if they didn’t smoke their life, they smoked their health, their money, their youth.

I still can’t understand what is the pleasure of throwing money on ashes and inhaling smoke. Life is full of beautiful things that can make us overcome stress. Then.. why cigarettes?

Run! It Might Catch You

It follows you everywhere in the light and becomes invisible in the dark… More like a daemon than an angel. The shadow hides our identity and the real meanings of objects around us – a strange, magical world that doubles our reality. People-like shapes rise from garbage, the little duck is in fact a scary shark and, with the help of a piece of chalk, Giacometti draws the missy who hides behind the street sign.

Vintage Santa

Every time I think of Christmas and the wonderful Santa Claus, except watching the faling snowflakes, expecting gifts and decorating the tree, Coca Cola comes to my mind. I don’t like the taste, I don’t drink… but I love their Christmas commercials and ads. As it is said, they were the ones that contributed in creating Santa’s image. Coca Cola Company defined many many years ago the jolly, red suited, white bearded Santa. You have below a small selection of their vintage ads. (Pictures copyright The Coca Cola Company)
