The metaphor of Paul Claudel finds its real meaning among the still waters of a lake. What is a lake in fact? A beautiful carpet where waters have gathered to sleep their eternity, a peaceful eye of the Earth, or more than that, a strange mirror for the sunlight. It can recreate the world around through marvelous colors.
