Size Does Matter

And huge is the new fashion… especially when we talk about rings. ;)

Metal, wood, or ceramic,  more or less colorful, but striking by design, by shape and size. The ring that got my attention at first… a Mawi. Words for it? Strong, powerful, and, the most important, aggressive.

More or less the same feelings inspired by Anthony Roussel‘s sculptural rings. A little warmer designs I might say due to using as base material wood.

And because we are talking about wood… the amazing rings designed by the Israeli Itay Ohaly ! Some strange and attractive pieces of jewellery carved from layers of coloured paint applied to an old wooden painting table.

Let’s not forget Moshiko who makes wonderful polymer, silver and gold rings…

And the last, but not least, the cute, food and drink themed rings…

  1. I really like these.. I think that it’s amazing how something so small can reflect personalities and emotions. I especially like the ones made out of the painting table – i like the fact it contains history.

  2. Do people actually were these?
Some of them looked cool though…..
    thanks for posting!!

  3. I love the last one!!

  4. I used to be indecisive. Now I’m not sure which one to choose as all of them are unique.

  5. I really loved reading your post! I get excited by mostthings antiques, but in particular engagement rings.
